Proton Savvy Kene Gelak
The Proton Savvy is a supermini with radical clamshell bonnet design for efficient air scooping produced by Malaysian car manufacturer Proton.
In Malaysia, the Manual Transmission (MT) model was launched in June 2005 and the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) model was launched in November 2005. In the United Kingdom the car was launched in September 2005.
It uses a 1.2 L SOHC 16-valve engine sourced from Renault, similar to the one used in the Renault Twingo and Clio.
The facelifted 2007 Proton Savvy was launched on 19 January 2007.
